Donald Trump Remembers WWE Legend Hulk Hogan

Hulk Hogan on WWE Raw

Hulk Hogan has passed away.

Following several years of health problems, Hulk Hogan passed away on July 24 at his home in Clearwater, Florida. The former World Champion was 71 years old.

Hogan is widely credited with reshaping professional wrestling twice during his career after helping take the WWF into the mainstream in the 1990s. A little under a decade later, Hogan changed the game for a second time with WCW, forming the nWo alongside Scott Hall and Kevin Nash.

However, in recent years, Hogan has been dogged by controversy after being caught on video using racist slurs and admitting to being a racist.

Donald Trump Pays Tribute To Hulk Hogan

Throughout 2024, Hogan publicly supported Donald Trump and his bid to win a second term as President of the United States. This included appearing at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where he gave a speech calling for “Trumpamania” to run wild.

In a new statement following the star’s passing, President Trump said he’d lost a great friend, describing Hogan as “MAGA all the way.”

We lost a great friend today, the “Hulkster.” Hulk Hogan was MAGA all the way – Strong, tough, smart, but with the biggest heart. He gave an absolutely electric speech at the Republican National Convention, that was one of the highlights of the entire week. He entertained fans from all over the World, and the cultural impact he had was massive. To his wife, Sky, and family, we give our warmest best wishes and love. Hulk Hogan will be greatly missed!

Disgraced former WWE boss Vince McMahon also shared a tribute to Hulk Hogan in a rare social media post. McMahon hailed Hogan as the greatest WWE Superstar of all time, adding that the world had lost a “treasure.”
