Donald Trump Expected To Attend John Cena’s Final WWE Match
Donald Trump has a long and well-known history with WWE dating back to the early 2000s.
As a celebrity with a flair for showmanship, Trump was involved in several WWE storylines and events, most notably the “Battle of the Billionaires” at WrestleMania 23 in 2007, where he faced off against ex-WWE Chairman Vince McMahon in a high-profile feud. His involvement helped blur the lines between politics and entertainment wrestling.
Donald Trump Will Attend John Cena’s Farewell WWE Match, Says Dutch Mantell
Recently, rumors have surfaced that WWE Hall of Famer Donald Trump might make an appearance at John Cena’s final WWE match, scheduled for December 13, 2025, at Saturday Night’s Main Event. Given Cena’s stature as one of the biggest WWE icons and the significance of his retirement bout, speculation is swirling that Trump could be part of the special occasion as a guest.
Plus, Donald Trump is known for attending major UFC events, and now that WWE is under UFC’s parent company, Endeavor, the chances of him attending the event seem very high. Even veteran Dutch Mantell believes that Trump will attend John Cena’s farewell match next month, despite him being a very busy man.
Speaking on the latest episode of his Story Time podcast, Mantell said:
“I think he will be there if he can be. He’d be there. Hey, that guy, listen, you can say a lot of things about Trump, but I’m going to tell you that guy is busy… Trump, you don’t know where he’s going to be. He cannot sleep. I think he’s a lot like Vince McMahon, and they are friends, you know. Vince, I think, sleeps about three, four, five hours a night, and that’s it. I think Trump does the same thing. So, I don’t know how they do that, but anyway, like you said, he could be there, and I think he will be there. So, I’ll just throw it out there.” (From 5:39)
