Donald Trump Confused About His WWE WrestleMania History

Donald Trump WWE

Donald Trump can’t seem to remember when he was involved with WWE events in the past.

When Donald’s Trump name is mentioned it can often evoke different reactions from people, especially Americans. Some people might call him a great leader who wants to “Make America Great Again” and make sure America’s borders are strong. The people who don’t like Trump might point out that a convicted felon like him that says controversial things should be nowhere near the Presidency of the United States.

Trump is a billionaire who has been a celebrity for over 40 years and went on to become the 45th President after winning the Presidential Election in November 2016. Even though he lost the 2020 Presidential Election, Trump refused to stop running for President and is now just two weeks away from the next election.

After the November 5th Presidential Election, Trump will be the President for the second time or he’ll be a two-time loser if the Democratic candidate Kamala Harris wins to become the first female President in the history of the United States.

There is also a long history for WWE and Donald Trump, which is why he was inducted into the celebrity wing of the WWE Hall of Fame. Trump has been a good friend of former WWE Chairman Vince McMahon for over four decades.

WrestleManias 4 and 5 (in 1988 and 1989) took place at Boardwalk Hall (Trump Plaza) in Atlantic City, New Jersey while Trump was at ringside for both of those shows. Trump also won the “Battle of the Billionaires” against Vince McMahon at WrestleMania 22 in 2006, which led to Vince’s head being shaved after the match.

Several big names in WWE history have shown their support to Donald Trump as President including The Undertaker & Kane, who is the Republican mayor of Knoxville, Tennessee. Hulk Hogan has also made it clear he’s voting for Trump and even spoke at the Republican National Convention this year.

Donald Trump And The Undertaker Don’t Remember What WrestleManias Trump Hosted

During an appearance on The Undertaker’s Six Feet Under podcast, Trump couldn’t seem to remember what WrestleMania he hosted and Taker wasn’t much help during the conversation.

Trump: “I knew Vince. I guess it goes back a long way. I held three or four WrestleManias.”

Undertaker: “(WrestleMania) Three and Four were at (Trump Plaza)”

Trump: “I think so. They were good ones. They were really good ones. It was hot as a pistol then. Some have always been hot, but it was really hot. I don’t think I did the first one, but I did maybe Three and Four.”

Undertaker: “Three and Four. It was the only time it’s been at the same place two years in a row.”

Trump: “Three and Four. In fact, it was so good, I wanted the second one. It was a tremendous success. It was great.”

As mentioned above, Trump hosted WrestleManias 4 and 5. The WrestleMania 3 event might be the most famous one of them all since it was at the Pontiac Silverdome in Detroit with over 93,000 fans in attendance, which is a number that has been disputed many times.

Also during that appearance on The Undertaker’s podcast, Donald Trump said that WWE legend The Rock called him after Trump was nearly assassinated earlier this year. Trump admitted that he didn’t know if Rock liked him, but Trump liked that Rock reached out to him like that.
