Don Callis Adds Champion To His Family On AEW Dynamite
It’s been a big week for Don Callis and on Dynamite he had more breaking news to share as yet another AEW star has joined his family.
Don Callis completed a deal with Jake Roberts recently to secure the services of Lance Archer with Rush and La Faccion Ingobernable heading under Roberts’ charge.
At WrestleDream, Callis proved instrumental in ensuring Konosuke Takeshita won the AEW International Championship from Will Ospreay. Another of Callis’ family members Kyle Fletcher showed his true colours as he turned his back on Ospreay, dropping his former partner with a vicious Tiger Driver as The Don Callis Family stood tall.
Who Better Than The Don Callis Family?
On Dynamite in San Jose, Don Callis looked to celebrate his successes but had one more surprise up his sleeve. On his way to the ring, Callis was accompanied not only by Lance Archer but also by the new ROH World Television Champion Brian Cage. During his alleged press conference, Callis noted that Archer and Cage will be looking to capture tag team gold.

Brian Cage entered AEW as part of Team Taz, a group led by Taz that also grew to feature Ricky Page, Powerhouse Hobbs, and HOOK. Cage was later associated with Tully Blanchard Enterprises briefly before that group morphed into Prince Nana’s Embassy, which then became the Mogul Embassy with Swerve Strickland at the helm.
Cage, Toa Liona, and Bishop Kaun eventually turned on Strickland leaving themselves as the Cage of Agony but that trio now looks to be over following Don Callis’ latest acquisition.
