Dominik Mysterio Wants Huge Singles Match, Even If WWE Doesn’t

Dominik Mysterio has revealed that he is open to a singles bout with Rhea Ripley.

The duo appeared to be an inseparable on-screen couple after spending over two years together as members of the dominant Judgment Day faction.

The pair now look set to be on a collision course for a rare intergender bout, however, after Mysterio shockingly turned on the former WWE Women’s Champion at SummerSlam on 3rd August, aligning himself with Liv Morgan.

Ripley has since joined forces with fellow ex-Judgment Day member Damien Priest to form the ‘Terror Twins’ and they defeated Mysterio and Morgan at Bash In Berlin on 31st August.

During the bout Ripley managed to get her hands on Mysterio and left fans with a taste of what could be expected should the company choose to book their first intergender singles contest since Reggie took on Shayna Baszler on the 31st May 2021 edition of Raw.

Speaking during a recent appearance on Gorilla Position ahead of Bash In Berlin, the 27 year-old confirmed that he would be happy to consider squaring off against his former ‘Mami’:

“I don’t think they’d book it but I’m here for it. “Yeah (I’d do it) but let’s just leave it at that.”

Dominik Mysterio has been widely praised for being one of the most hated heel characters in professional wrestling having seen his career skyrocket after a flat initial run as a babyface.
