Dominik Mysterio Shows His True Colours At WWE SummerSlam

Dominik Mysterio Rhea Ripley

Rhea Ripley and Liv Morgan finally clashed at SummerSlam and Dominik Mysterio proved to be the dirty, slimy, lowlife WWE fans have long known he was.

Liv Morgan put Rhea Ripley on the injured list forcing The Judgment Day star to vacate her Women’s World Championship shortly after WrestleMania 40. Morgan’s ‘Revenge Tour’ did not end there as she soon captured the title and set her sights on winning the affections of Dominik Mysterio.

Despite his protestations, Mysterio has done very little to put Morgan off and hand to answer to his ‘Mami’ when Rhea Ripley made her long-awaited return to WWE. Ripley will challenge Morgan for the Women’s World Title at SummerSlam but the issue with Dirty Dom is the one most people have their eyes on.

On Raw in Green Bay, Rhea Ripley had enough as she dragged Dominik to the ring and invited Liv Morgan to come and get him. Morgan appeared but kept her distance as Ripley forced Mysterio to make his choice and he delivered some harsh words to the Women’s World Champion.

Mysterio told Morgan that he hated her and she had ruined his life leaving Morgan to flee the scene in tears as all seemed well in The Judgment Day once again. Ripley celebrated by licking Dominik’s face before planting a big kiss on his cheek to celebrate.

Dominik Mysterio Helps Liv Morgan – Accidentally?

At SummerSlam, Rhea Ripley’s previously injured shoulder came into play as she claimed it had been dislocated early on giving Liv Morgan the advantage. Ripley salvaged the situation by slamming her shoulder into the announce table to pop it back into place after Dominik Mysterio had saved her from a suicide dive at the hands of Morgan.

Ripley had Morgan defeated with a Riptide before turning her attention to a steel chair. As she reared back, however, Dominik Mysterio snatched it away – but only because Ripley couldn’t win the title if she was disqualified. The distraction allowed Morgan to hit Oblivion but only got a 2 count on the challenger for her efforts. Mysterio then distracted the referee long enough for another Oblivion but this time on the chair as Liv Morgan retained her gold.

However, any sense of an accident was soon wiped away as Dominik helped Liv Morgan to her feet and they kissed in front of a devastated Rhea Ripley. Michael Cole called the star a “two-timing son of a b*tch” before Pat McAfee labelled Mysterio a “piece of sh*t.” Few would argue.
