Dominik Mysterio Tempers “Titty” Expectations In WWE

Dominik Mysterio WWE

WWE is heading to Netflix and with many expecting the boundaries to be pushed Dominik Mysterio – of all people – has explained just how raw the company’s flagship show could get.

In January 2025, WWE Raw will begin life on Netflix in a deal said to be worth a staggering $5 billion. The deal marks the first time the sports entertainment giant has partnered with a streaming platform and many observers believe other companies and sports organisations could follow suit.

During an appearance on The Pat McAfee Show, Triple H discussed Raw’s move to Netflix and the changes that could be seen on-screen. The WWE CCO got many excited when he noted that the same censorship issues they have faced recently on TV won’t be an issue on Netflix:

Being on Fox, if the crowd chants ‘holy sh*t’ or something worse, they take the audio (out). Sometimes, they take the picture and the audio out and it’s a black screen. The Rock comes in and you can’t tell what The Rock to do. He does what he does. We won’t have those issues with Netflix.

That has led many to believe that WWE might be looking to produce an edgier, more adult-themed product on Monday nights but Dominik Mysterio has now urged some caution for those eager for the trappings of the Attitude Era to return.

Dominik Mysterio Cautions WWE Fans Over Wait For “Titties”

Speaking on the Impaulsive podcast, Mysterio explained that while many people might expect a lightswitch-like change on Raw, he believes the company is going to take a more organic approach to finding its edge:

I think people are going to expect us to go in there and first episode of Raw on Netflix, people are going to expect blood and tables everywhere. Titties. Edge and Lita where they had the live sex show. I’m sure people are going to expect that. I feel, in order for stuff like that to be special and meaningful, you can’t have it all the time.

It’s got to come like an RKO out of nowhere. You don’t expect it and then it’s, Boom! Tit! I don’t know if it’s necessarily going to edge up. I think it’s going to take time to edge up. I think we’re going to gradually stay the same and then slowly start testing our boundaries.

Dominik Mysterio will do well to make it to Raw on Netflix after betraying Rhea Ripley at SummerSlam. Mysterio will team with Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan to face Ripley and Damian Priest at Bash In Berlin.
