Dominik Mysterio Makes Surprising Confession About Rhea Ripley Romance
Dominik Mysterio and Rhea Ripley were an on-screen couple in WWE.
Their storyline relationship began in 2022 when Dominik turned heel on his father, Rey Mysterio, and joined The Judgment Day.
At SummerSlam 2024, he betrayed Rhea Ripley by helping Liv Morgan retain her Women’s World Championship, effectively ending the on-screen romance.
Then, Dirty Dom started a romantic angle with Morgan.
Ahead of the Survivor Series premium live event, Mysterio sat down for an interview with Mark Kriegel, where he made a surprising confession about his romance with Rhea Ripley.
He revealed that his romance storyline with Mami was inspired by Eddie Guerrero and Chyna, who played the role of an on-screen couple during the Attitude Era.
“Like this is all Eddie. I watched him just so much that it organically became a thing. Even with the Rhea stuff, Eddie and Chyna. Now the lie, cheat, steal stuff that we’re currently doing,” he said.
Dominik Mysterio Reunites With Liv Morgan at Survivor Series
Liv Morgan had been absent from WWE since June after suffering a shoulder injury during a singles match against Kairi Sane.
She made her surprise return at Survivor Series this past Saturday to help Dominik Mysterio in his match.
Mysterio challenged John Cena for a rematch for the WWE Intercontinental Championship at Survivor Series, which he lost a few weeks ago on Monday Night RAW.
The Judgment Day tried to help him in his match, but failed. However, Morgan made sure that her boyfriend walked out of the match with gold around his waist.
Dominik Mysterio then took advantage of the situation and hit The Last Real Champion with a 619 and a Frog Splash to pin Cena to become the new WWE Intercontinental Champion.
