Diamond Dallas Page Recovering After Undergoing Medical Procedure
Diamond Dallas Page has confirmed that he recently underwent a medical procedure.
Although he’s a three-time former World Champion and WWE Hall of Famer, Diamond Dallas Page has arguably had a bigger impact on the wrestling industry in the years since he retired.
After launching DDP Yoga, Page famously helped Jake Roberts turn his life around, a journey captured in the acclaimed documentary The Resurrection of Jake the Snake. In more recent years,
DDP has also worked extensively with Lex Luger.
However, that doesn’t mean he hasn’t faced his own health struggles.
Diamond Dallas Page Recovering Well
In a new post on social media, Page revealed that he started to feel strange following a recent workout where he admits he pushed himself too hard. When taken to the hospital, he underwent a procedure to correct an irregular heartbeat, something he’s dealt with previously.
He urged anyone over 50 to wear a heart monitor when working out. In typical DDP style, in the accompanying video, he’s stretching in his hospital bed.

Last week, I went into AFib. I normally wear a heart monitor when training, but for some reason didn’t this day. I pushed myself too hard, felt ‘off’, dizzy, and heart racing… and well, here we are…
This is my 2nd time with AFib (irregular heartbeats) in the past 3 years. I’ll have a cardio ablation next month and should be good to go.
I will never not wear a heart monitor and/or @Apple watch when working out again. I promise Payge🙏🏼!

During a recent interview, D-Von Dudley became the latest veteran to credit DDP Yoga with turning his health around. The tag team star has been dealing with injuries and ill-health for several years, but he’s planning to return to the ring for one last match before the end of 2025.
It’s believed that D-Von will reunite with Bubba Ray to face Matt and Jeff Hardy at TNA Bound For Glory.
In November 2024, DDP said that despite his desire to keep fit, he won’t be returning to the ring. The WWE Hall of Famer since making a special appearance in AEW back in 2020. Page hasn’t wrestled on a full-time basis since 2005.
