Details Revealed For Vince McMahon’s New Business

TJR Wrestling

The former WWE Chairman Vince McMahon is staying active with a new business.

Following multiple scandals in the summer of 2022 that led to his temporary retirement, Vince McMahon was compelled by the new owners, TKO Group/Endeavor, to sell most of his WWE stock.

The main reason why Vince McMahon was forced to sell his WWE stock is because of a sexual harassment and sex trafficking lawsuit filed by former WWE employee Janel Grant. That lawsuit was filed in January 2024, and since then, McMahon has been away from WWE.

While McMahon has maintained his innocence, the ongoing legal battle continues.

There have also been rumors that Vince McMahon is launching a new company that wouldn’t necessarily be a pro wrestling entity but rather some sort of entertainment product. According to Wrestlenomics, McMahon’s new company is called 14TH & I, with a focus on sports, media, and entertainment.

Wrestlenomics reported that McMahon filed three limited liability companies in Connecticut in September 2024.

  • 14TH & I Holdings LLC
  • 14TH & I Investments LLC
  • 14TH & I Management LLC

Having separate LLCs is a way to legally and financially separate different parts of the business.

It was also noted by Wrestlenomics that: “The filings suggest the firm intends to engage in both private equity investment and the development of scripted programming.”

A former WWE executive named Brad Blum is the President of 14TH & I and wrote about it on his verified LinkedIn profile.

“14th & I is a private investment firm focused on the sports, media, & entertainment sectors. We are a disciplined, flexible, long-term capital and strategic partner, primarily targeting buyouts/majority deals, as well as selective growth-oriented minority investments. We seek to partner with and empower exceptional management teams, providing deep expertise, capability, and relationships to help drive significant long-term value.”

Why Is Vince McMahon’s New Company Called 14th & I

In a 2006 WWE.com article, it reveals that Vince McMahon’s father Vince Sr.’s Capitol Wrestling Corporation was on 14th & I in Washington, D.C., so it had a big impact on Vince Jr.’s life as well.

The nation’s capital is also, in a sense, the home of WWE itself. Washington, D.C. is where Vince McMahon, Sr. cut his teeth in the sports-entertainment industry in the 1950s and 60s. The company that would eventually become WWE, the Capital Wrestling Corporation, had an office in the Franklin Park Hotel at 14th & I street in the District.

There is no indication if 14th & I plans to produce pro wrestling content or if they intend to focus solely on other forms of entertainment.

Even at the age of 79 years old (80 in August), Vince McMahon apparently has no plans of slowing down.
