From October 7th, Monday Night Raw will revert to being two hours for the first time in over a decade. The change has been greeted warmly by many fans who have dreamed of the third hour being dropped for several years.

The red brand will remain at two hours for the remainder of 2024 until leaves the USA Network for Netflix on January 6th, 2025.

Interestingly, it’s been reported that SmackDown, which recently moved to the USA Network, could be about to pick up a third hour. According to the most recent report on the subject, talks between WWE and USA are “ongoing.”

But the question remains, will Raw on Netflix be two or three hours?

Triple H Giving Little Away On WWE Raw Future

During the WWE Bad Blood Press Conference, Triple H was asked whether the show will return to being three hours when it lands on Netflix.

“When we get to Netflix, we are still working through all of that. So I think the truth is, you guys will have to watch and see and I am gonna wait and see, but we will deal with it.”

Speaking more generally, The Game said the company is focused on telling the best stories possible no matter how long their shows are.

“The truth is, no matter what the length of time is, it’s just about putting out the best product we can, telling the best possible stories we can. At the end of the day, that is what this is all about – telling stories.

Sometimes in our business, we get so caught up in two hour – three-hour, one-hour, this [that]…the movie is the movie.

When the movie is over, it was either really good, or it was not good, or too long, or too short. Whatever it is. But we are just making a movie every week, twice a week, three times a week, actually, with more to come.

We kind of approach it in that matter. Let’s write the best stories and then we’ll try to figure out how to jam it into whatever timeslot we have available.”

During a recent interview, Nia Jax said WWE will be on Netflix from January 3rd for international fans. Monday Night Raw will then premiere on the streaming platform three days later.
