Departing WWE Star Failed To Impress After 4 Years
One WWE star on his way out of the company is believed not to have impressed enough during their four years on the roster.
WWE fans were taken by surprise when Edris Enofe announced he was leaving the company. Enofe had been part of the NXT brand since debuting for the company in 2021, but in recent months, his TV appearances had been limited to the EVOLVE brand.
Enofe explained his decision in a video released on social media, where he said:
As of today, I will officially be leaving the WWE. This is a decision I have thought about for a very long time, and I’m gonna trust my gut on this.
With that being said, for the past 4 years I have had the chance to meet and work with incredible people, from the wrestlers, to the referees, the creative teams, the medical staff and of course all the coaches who put in so much time and effort into making me better, and for that I will always, always appreciate y’all. And of course to all the fans who have supported me through all these years, thank you.
WWE Had No Plans For Edris Enofe
Speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer explained why he thinks Enofe is as well to leave the company as he believes WWE have no plans for him despite his impressive physique:
He never wrestled before WWE so he’s never done indies or anything like that. He was recruited for WWE, probably because he’s got a good body and he was a good athlete. He had a kinda freaky physique.
He showed stuff at times but never blew me away or anything like that. Obviously, with a body like that in WWE, the fact that they stopped using him on TV kinda tells you that they weren’t impressed enough. So he might as well have done this. There was nothing that led me to believe that he was anywhere near main roster-bound.
Enofe’s departure comes just days after Jazmyn Nyx’s own WWE exit was confirmed. Nyx revealed that she failed to come to terms with the company over a new deal, with money said to be at the heart of her decision to leave.
