Departing WWE Star Agrees Company Fumbled Them
One WWE star who is on their way out of the company has agreed that their run was badly fumbled.
Unfortunate news broke recently as it emerged WWE had released Indi Hartwell and Tegan Nox from their deals meaning that they’ll be free agents when their 90-day non-compete clauses expire in early 2025.
They are not the only talents departing the company, however, as Baron Corbin was told his contract would not be extended with reports suggesting his current deal expires towards the end of 2024.
Corbin had the longest tenure in WWE of the three and during his time in the company, he was a Lone Wolf, a Constable, Happy, and a bum, as well as being a former NXT Tag Team Champion and a United States Champion. Baron Corbin also holds the distinction of being the man to retire WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle at WrestleMania 35.
Baron Corbin Thinks WWE Fumbled The Bag
However, since ending his revitalising 11-month run in NXT to return to the WWE main roster in May 2024, chances have been few and far between for Corbin. And it seems he felt he could have been used better.
Baron Corbin responded to one fan on social media after the news broke of his impending exit who claimed that WWE had “fumbled the bag” by letting him go, signalling his agreement:
I appreciate that and feel the same.
