Death Riders Win on AEW Dynamite As Husband-Wife Clash
The first match of AEW Dynamite New Year’s Smash saw a continuation of a rivalry that has been going on in the promotion for the past few weeks.
The Conglomeration and the Death Riders have been at each other’s throats for a while now, and even faced each other in a Blood and Guts match. They faced each other at World’s End this past weekend as well.
The Death Riders were beaten at the recent pay-per-view by The Conglomeration and Toni Storm, but weren’t satisfied with the result and faced the group in another tag team match tonight.

Claudio Castagnoli, Daniel Garcia, and Marina Shafir took on Orange Cassidy, Roderick Strong, and Toni Storm in a New Year’s Eve Tornado Tag Match in Omaha.
The match was a brutal affair, which saw a bit of intergender wrestling as well as Danial Garcia booting Toni Storm in the face as she was trying to hit the giant swing on Claudio. Roderick Strong even delivered a backbreaker to his wife, Marina Shafir.

The Death Riders ended on the winning side tonight as they received some outside help from Wheeler Yuta, which allowed Claudio to hit Orange Cassidy with a big European Uppercut for the win.
