Dax Harwood Shares When FTR’s AEW Contracts Expire
Dax Harwood has given some insight on FTR’s current contracts with All Elite Wrestling (AEW).
FTR’s Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler are in the middle of a dominant tag team champion run, having the belts for each of the promotions of Ring of Honor (ROH), New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) and Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide, and this going on while being signed to AEW.
Back in 2020, Harwood and Wheeler made their debuts in the Tony Khan-led company, and two months later, signed full-time contracts with AEW. With the tag team now hitting their third year, it looks like that their contracts with the promotion are set to expire soon.
Taking part in an interview with Fightful Select‘s Sean Ross Sapp, Dax Harwood put a spotlight on FTR’s contracts with AEW, saying they’re scheduled to end next year in April. Hardwood said that he’s been involved in “a lot of conversations about their future” with Wheeler as they plan out their future, including the possibility of “tak[ing] a year off of wrestling for major companies and just do things that are fun to them.”
Dax Hardwood went on to say that “having the opportunity to work more indies and various companies have led [FTR] to find out how much they love that landscape.”
