Dave Meltzer Match Ratings WWE WrestleMania 41 Night Two
Dave Meltzer has shared his thoughts on WrestleMania.
Night two of WrestleMania 41 will forever be remembered for one of the most divisive main events in recent memory, and perhaps of all time. However, when all was said and done, John Cena walked away with World Championship number 17. Albeit with a somewhat bizarre assist from Hip Hop star Travis Scott.
The second night of the spectacular also saw the return of Becky Lynch, who made a surprise appearance as Bayley’s replacement. 24 hours earlier, Bayley was mysteriously attacked backstage, leaving Lyra Valkyria without a tag team partner. Step forward, The Man, who went on to help Valkyria defeat Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez to claim the Women’s Tag Team Championship.
In the opening match of the night, Iyo Sky retained the Women’s World Championship with a stunning win over Rhea Ripley and Bianca Belair.
Elsewhere, Drew McIntyre beat Damian Priest in a violent Street Fight, and Dominik Mysterio won the Intercontinental Championship. Later in the night, Logan Paul saw off AJ Styles, and TNA World Champion Joe Hendry answered Randy Orton’s open challenge.
