Dave Meltzer Match Ratings WWE WrestleMania 41 Night One

Seth Rollins screaming WWE

The Wrestling Observer’s Dave Meltzer has shared his match ratings for WrestleMania 41.

WrestleMania 41 started with a bang as Jey Uso finally saw off Gunther to claim the World Heavyweight Championship. Uso had been on a mission for months to dethrone the once-dominant champion, especially after his Royal Rumble win.

In front of a shocked crowd, not only did Uso Yeet his way to victory, but he also forced Gunther to tap out.

Fast forward to the main event and Paul Heyman screwed both Roman Reigns and CM Punk as he helped Seth Rollins to victory. On the following episode of Raw, the new combo recruited Bron Breakker as they look to take over the company.

Elsewhere, there were big wins for The New Day and Jacob Fatu, who claimed the World Tag Team and United States Championships, respectively, while Tiffany Stratton retained the Women’s Title with a win over Charlotte Flair. In non-title action, Jade Cargill beat Naomi, and El Grande Americano got the better of Rey Fenix, who was a late replacement for Rey Mysterio.
