Dave Meltzer Match Ratings WWE Elimination Chamber 2025
What did Dave Meltzer make of Elimination Chamber?
Elimination Chamber will forever be remembered for the moment John Cena delivered a swift kick to Cody Rhodes’ groin. In doing so, Cena turned heel for the first time in over two decades, stunning WWE fans across the world.
Much of the talk heading into the event had been whether Rhodes would sell his soul to The Rock, but in the end, it was Cena who sold out for one more shot at WWE World Championship glory. A shot that he earned by winning the men’s Elimination Chamber match.
In the opening match of the night, Bianca Belair won the women’s Chamber match, but only after Jade Cargill returned to take out Naomi. Cargill had been out of action since November when she was left beaten down by a mystery attacker.
Elsewhere, Tiffany Stratton and Trish Stratus beat Nia Jax and Candice LeRae, and Randy Orton returned after Kevin Owens got the better of Sami Zayn in a brutal Unsanctioned Match.
