Dave Meltzer has published his ratings for WWE SummerSlam.

For many fans, SummerSlam felt like a much-needed reset with several titles changing hands and a surprise return of Roman Reigns that created more questions than it answered.

The tone for the night was set in the opening match of the event when Dominik Mysterio betrayed Rhea Ripley to help Liv Morgan retain the Women’s World Title. It was a bad night for Judgment Day originals as Finn Balor later turned his back on Damian Priest, helping Gunther win the World Heavyweight Title.

Meanwhile, Drew McIntyre overcame CM Punk in a match stacked with emotional drama, minutes after Nia Jax beat Bayley to win the Women’s Title.

In the main event, Reigns helped Cody Rhodes retain his World Championship in a wild Bloodline Rules brawl.
