Dave Meltzer Match Ratings WWE Crown Jewel 2024
Dave Meltzer has published his match ratings for WWE Crown Jewel.
On November 2nd, WWE returned to Saudi Arabia for the second and final time in 2024. The sixth Crown Jewel event was especially notable for the creation of the Crown Jewel Championships.
This saw Women’s Champion Nia Jax face Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan, and World Heavyweight Champion Gunther take on Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes. When all was said and done, it was Morgan and Rhodes who emerged victorious, walking away with new championship rings and a new title belt.
In the opening match of the night, The Bloodline scored a stunning win over Roman Reigns and The Usos. After the final bell, Solo Sikoa, Jacob Fatu, and Tama Tonga continued the assault, only to be thwarted by Sami Zayn. However, things went quickly off the rails after Zayn accidentally hit Reigns with a Helluva Kick.
Elsewhere, there were wins for Bianca Belair & Jade Cargill, LA Knight, and Seth Rollins, but the match between Randy Orton and Kevin Owens never started.
