Dave Meltzer Match Ratings WWE Bad Blood 2024

CM Punk At Bad Blood

Dave Meltzer has given his thoughts on WWE Bad Blood.

Bad Blood might have ended with The Rock standing tall at the top of the ramp, but it was the first match of the night that arguably stole the show.

The event kicked off with the brutal Hell In A Cell match between CM Punk and Drew McIntyre. The bout was something of a throwback and was immediately praised by fans online. Both men bled heavily with Drew McIntyre requiring 16 staples to close a nasty wound on his head. In the end, it was Punk who grabbed the win after a Go 2 Sleep with his knee wrapped in a heavy-duty chain.

In the main event, Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes got the better of Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu. The tide of the match turned with the return of Jimmy Uso who took out Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa who were doing their best to get involved.

Just as the show was about to go off the air, The Rock appeared at the top of the ramp and gave a cryptic countdown before leaving.

Elsewhere, there were wins for Nia Jax, Damian Priest, and Rhea Ripley. However, unfortunately for her, Ripley’s win came after she was attacked by the returning Raquel Rodriguez, meaning she won by disqualification and the Women’s World Title stayed in the hands of Liv Morgan.
