Dave Meltzer Match Ratings AEW Full Gear 2024

Jon Moxley and Wheeler Yuta attack Orange Cassidy

What did Dave Meltzer think of AEW Full Gear?

On November 23rd, AEW rolled into the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey for Full Gear. There were four championships on the line, with Jon Moxley putting up the AEW World Title in the main event against Orange Cassidy.

That main event was chaos from start to finish, and before the show went off the air there had been run-ins from the returning Willow Nightingale and PAC, Claudio Castagnoli, Marina Shafir, Rocky Romero, Tomohiro Ishii, Kyle O’Reilly, Hangman Adam Page, Christian Cage and Jay White. But despite the madness, Moxley escaped with his World Title. Even if a speeding Darby Allin took out the Death Riders’s truck before all was said and done.

Elsewhere there were big wins for Bobby Lashley, Mercedes Mone, MJF, and Jay White, while Daniel Garcia beat Jack Perry to claim the TNT Title.
