Dave Meltzer Reveals NXT Battleground 2024 Match Ratings

Dave Meltzer has shared his match ratings for NXT Battleground.

On June 9th, NXT held Battleground at the UFC Apex — the latest move to tighten the relationship between WWE and UFC. However, it’s since been reported that not everyone in WWE was happy with the change.

There was a great deal of intrigue around the event, with TNA Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace challenging Roxanne Perez for the NXT Women’s Title. On the night it was Perez who was victorious, but the crossover between the two companies looks set to continue.

In the main event, Trick Williams got the better of Ethan Page to retain his NXT Championship. The match was Page’s first in NXT since making the jump from AEW.

Meanwhile, in the opening match of the night, Kelani Jordan emerged from a chaotic six-woman Ladder Match to become the first-ever NXT Women’s North American Champion.
