Dave Meltzer Match Ratings NXT No Mercy 2024

Giulia makes NXT debut confronting Roxanne Perez

Dave Meltzer was a big of Axiom and Nathan Frazer’s NXT Tag team Title win.

The biggest talking point coming out of NXT No Mercy on September 1st was the shock debut of Giulia. The star signed with WWE back in April and was shown in the crowd watching Stand & Deliver during WrestleMania weekend. However, she returned to Japan to help launch the new Marigold promotion with former Stardom boss Rossy Ogawa.

In the seconds after Roxanne Perez defeated Jaida Parker to retain the NXT Women’s Title, Giulia made her move. During a tense staredown, Perez raised her prized title belt in an act of defiance, but that did little to discourage the new arrival. On the following episode of NXT, Giulia demanded a match for the gold.

In the main event, Ethan Page retained the NXT Title with a win over Joe Hendry with Trick Williams serving as the special guest referee. Meanwhile, in the opening match of the night, Axiom and Nathan Frazer captured the NXT Tag Team Titles.
