Dave Meltzer has given his thoughts on AEW All In.
On August 25th, AEW headed back to Wembley Stadium for the second biggest show in the company’s history. The event played out in front of a raucous crowd and those in attendance were rewarded by a packed evening of chaotic action and several title changes.
In one of the most emotional main events AEW has ever seen, Bryan Danielson defeated Swerve Strickland to win the World Championship. The win extends Danielson’s career after he had earlier pledged to retire if he lost.
Elsewhere, Mariah May got the better of Toni Storm to win the Women’s Title, and Will Ospreay pinned MJF to regain the International Title.
There were also big wins for the Young Bucks, Pac & the Blackpool Combat Club, Mercedes Mone, Jack Perry, Hook, and Christian Cage who won the Casino Gauntlet Match. The wild Battle Boyal also saw the return to action of Nigel McGuinness.
