Dave Meltzer Reveals AEW Full Gear 2023 Match Ratings

Dave Meltzer has unveiled his star ratings for AEW Full Gear.

On November 18th AEW headed to the Kia Forum for Full Gear. The card featured seven title matches and the unveiling of Will Ospreay as AEW’s latest long-term signing.

MJF retained the AEW World Title in the main event with a victory over Jay White. The champion overcame wrestling earlier in the night and even leaving the arena in an ambulance to grab the win. It’s been reported that Jay White was “not thrilled” with how the build-up and match played out.

Swerve Strickland took on Hangman Adam Page in one of the most talked about matches of the year. The Texas Death Match quickly devolved into a stunningly bloody spectacle featuring a staple gun, barbed wire, and a whole host of weaponry. One spot in particular split fans on social media, with Hangman even drinking Strickland’s blood after a particularly brutal assault.

Elsewhere there were wins for Toni Storm, Julia Hart, The Golden Jets, Orange Cassidy, and Eddie Kingston.
