Dave Bautista Signs New WME Deal
Dave Bautista is now part of WME.
It’s been announced that Dave Bautista and his Dogbone production company have signed a deal with the WME (William Morris Endeavor) talent agency. Endeavor is the majority owner of WWE and the UFC via the TKO Group.
Bautista is currently filming buddy cop comedy “The Wrecking Crew” opposite Jason Momoa, while his latest movie “The Last Showgirl” with Pamela Anderson and Jamie Lee Curtis is currently in theaters.
Deadline was the first to report the news and noted the following.
Bautista’s Dogbone is a full-service entertainment company, active across film and television, that’s focused on producing action-packed stories with heart, smart comedies, and compelling dramas that promote meaningful conversation. Credits for the company to date include My Spy: The Eternal City for Amazon, The Killer’s Game for Lionsgate, and In the Lost Lands.
Dave Bautista Still Loves WWE
During an interview back in September, Dave Bautista declared his love for the WWE Universe. The now-Hollywood star admitted that if he wouldn’t have launched an acting career, he’d likely still be with WWE.
He added that he hopes the company always leaves the door open for him because he still loves pro wrestling.
Bautista wrestled his last match at WrestleMania 35, losing to Triple H in what he later revealed was his retirement bout. The star was initially announced as part of the WWE Hall of Fame class of 2020, but he was forced to pull out by the time the ceremony rolled around a year later.
In August, the man formerly known as Batista reiterated that he’ll never return to the ring as he sees that match with Triple H as the perfect goodbye.
