A WWE star is preparing to say goodbye.

It’s been announced that Meiko Satomura will team with Manami to take on Aja Kong and Chihiro Hashimoto in her final match in Tokyo, Japan, on April 29.

The match is drenched in history, with Satomura and Kong having a rivalry that stretches back decades, while the WWE star trained the 20-year-old Manami.

Satomura began her career back in 1995 and competed in WCW, Stardom, Chikara, and several others before making her WWE debut in 2018. She eventually signed with the sports entertainment giant in 2020, working as an on-screen talent and a coach.

The legend’s most recent action for WWE came during a three-date tour of Japan in July 2024, where she wrestled her first matches for the company since March 2023.

Despite her fleeting appearances, Satomura remains on the company roster page.

John Cena Adamant He’ll Leave WWE In 2025

Despite winning the Undisputed WWE Championship at WrestleMania, John Cena remains determined to retire in 2025.

The new champion said that once he steps away in December, there’s no amount of money that will be able to bring him back. Cena stated that he promised himself he’d retire when he felt he’d lost a step, and he admitted he’s no longer the wrestler he was.

During the Raw after WrestleMania, Cena was attacked by Randy Orton, seemingly setting up one more match between the pair. However, there have also been reports that Cena will team with Travis Scott before the end of the year, but it should be noted that the match is just one of several suggestions at this stage.
