Darby Allin’s AEW Feud Won’t End Until Someone’s Underground
Darby Allin has had no shortage of rivals during his time in AEW but one of them thinks their feud will continue until one of them’s in the ground.
Darby Allin has his sights set on championship gold in AEW and has two shots to get it coming in the near future. Allin forced Matthew Jackson to give him a TNT Title match against Jack Perry at Blood & Guts as he threatened to set Perry on fire once again.
But the good news for the former AEW Tag Team Champion didn’t stop there. Darby Allin won the Royal Rampage match to claim a shot at the AEW World Championship at Grand Slam in September. That match will likely be against either Swerve Strickland or Bryan Danielson who clash for that title at All In.
During the Royal Rampage match, however, Darby Allin came up against a man that he seems to be destined to fight forever in The House of Black’s Brody King. King and Allin clashed several times in 2022 with Allin picking up a big win in a coffin match.
Darby Allin’s Headstone Tattooed On AEW Star’s Leg
Speaking to Ringside Collectibles at San Diego Comic-Con, Brody King commented on his long-standing feud with Darby Allin and thinks they’re destined to fight one another til death do them part:
I feel like my blood feud with Darby Allin is never-ending until one of us is literally in the ground. He has the tattooed on his chest, ‘Nothing’s over til you’re underground, and I don’t think that feud will ever be over.’ [Smiles] It’s more than a title for me if I can put him six feet too. I have his headstone tattooed on my leg.
Following Blood & Guts, Allin will continue his issues with Team Elite following Blood & Guts on the 31st of July edition of Dynamite when he faces Hangman Adam Page.
