Darby Allin Makes Shock Return On AEW Dynamite

Darby Allin AEW

Darby Allin has not been seen in AEW since Dynamite Big Business in March but now the star is back and he has his sights set on the very top of the company.

Darby Allin was part of Sting’s retirement match back at Revolution when the two men defeated The Young Bucks to retain the AEW World Tag Team Championship which they subsequently vacated. Since then Allin suffered a loss to Jay White before taking time away to embark on a hugely ambitious Mount Everest climb.

However, Allin’s expedition was put on hold due to a foot injury suffered in his match with White but now in his home state of Washington, the former TNT Champion is back.

Darby Allin Going To AEW Double Or Nothing

On Dynamite in Everett, Washington it was confirmed that Eddie Kingston had been pulled from the Anarchy In The Arena match due to a leg injury. Kingston was originally set to team with FTR and Bryan Danielson at Double Or Nothing as Team AEW to face the power-mad Elite.

In the main event of Dynamite, The Elite’s Kazuchika Okada successfully defended his Continental Championship against Dax Harwood. After the match, The Elite pounced on Harwood with Cash Wheeler and Bryan Danielson coming to his aid.

However, the numbers were too much for Team AEW’s trio until Darby Allin’s music hit and he appeared behind the villains, taking them out with his skateboard. It was then confirmed via an on-screen graphic that Allin was officially added to the Anarchy In The Arena match at Double Or Nothing.
