Darby Allin In Huge Falls Count Anywhere Showdown On AEW Dynamite

Darby Allin AEW

Darby Allin is looking to get a little extreme as AEW heads to Philadelphia for its residency in a historic wrestling building.

Darby Allin took time away from AEW to scale the heights of Mount Everest. Allin returned to the company to help ensure Hangman Adam Page defeated Jon Moxley to win the AEW World Championship at All In Texas. Moxley had been holding the title hostage as he and his Death Riders tried to rule the company with their own brand of justice.

At Forbidden Door, Allin’s battles with Moxley and his crew continued as a huge ten-man lights out steel cage match took place. Darby Allin teamed with Kenny Omega, Kota Ibushi, Will Ospreay, and Hiroshi Tanahashi to defeat the Death Riders and The Young Bucks. But the real story came after the match.

The Death Riders isolated Will Ospreay in the cage as Jon Moxley and Claudio Castagnoli launched a sickening attack on the star’s injured neck. Ospreay was stretchered out of the arena, and his future in AEW looks increasingly uncertain as he’ll almost certainly be forced to go under the knife.

But for Darby Allin, the fight goes on.

Darby Allin Gets Huge Match On AEW Dynamite

In the first show of AEW’s residence in the 2300 Arena – better known as the ECW Arena – Tony Khan has announced that Darby Allin will do battle with Claudio Castagnoli in a Falls Count Anywhere match. The balconies inside the famous building have been warned.

Jon Moxley will also be in action as he takes on Daniel Garcia. The show will also see tag team action take place as Megan Bayne and Penelope Ford do battle with Kris Statlander and Harley Cameron.
