Daniel Garcia’s Future Made Clear On AEW Dynamite

For months the future of Daniel Garcia has been the subject of intense speculation but now he’s put the rumours to rest on AEW Dynamite.

In recent months it’s become something of an open secret that WWE has an interest in Daniel Garcia. Garcia’s AEW contract was believed to end in October and as time wore on without the star re-signing it seemed AEW was losing confidence in keeping Garcia in the company.

Garcia returned to AEW TV after being written off in an injury angle by MJF to fight the former AEW World Champion at All Out. It has been widely reported that Garcia would have won that match if he’d re-signed with AEW by then but MJF picked up the win and Garcia disappeared from TV again. That was until Dynamite Title Tuesday took place in Spokane, Washington.

Daniel Garcia Ain’t Leaving

Garcia made a surprise appearance on the show where he addressed his future at long last. Giving a heartfelt promo to the crowd, it seemed like the star was gearing up to say goodbye. Daniel Garcia noted that he’s one of the best wrestlers in the world and as such it was only right that he be where the best wrestle and that was AEW.

After confirming he was staying with Tony Khan’s company, Garcia put every title holder in the company on notice as he seeks championship gold.

AEW Dynamite saw one missing star make their shock return to the show after two years out of action.
