Damian Priest Sends Chilling Message To Ex-WWE Champion
Damian Priest has made it clear that his WWE SmackDown rivalry isn’t over yet.
The feud between Damian Priest and Aleister Black has become very personal. They are two veterans with long histories in WWE since Priest is a former World Champion and Black is a former NXT Champion.
When Damian Priest faced Aleister Black on the October 10th edition of WWE SmackDown, they had a Last Man Standing Match that appeared to be the end of the rivalry. Instead, Black’s wife, Zelina Vega, arrived in the crowd, gave her husband Black an object, and Black threw a fireball into Priest’s face to blind him. Black hit a Black Mass kick on Priest, who bumped through a table, and Black won.
Two weeks later, on the October 24th SmackDown, Black was challenging Ilja Dragunov for the US Title. They had a great match, but Priest showed up in sunglasses, then took them off to reveal scarring around his left eye from the fireball. That distraction led Dragunov to win the match.
Damian Priest Issues Warning To Aleister Black
On WWE SmackDown in Salt Lake City, Damian Priest was featured in a video saying that he should hate Aleister Black, but he doesn’t hate him. Priest said he doesn’t hate his sneak attacks, or that he uses his wife, or that he set Priest’s face on fire. Priest said it’s personal to him now. Priest said you know it’s coming, you won’t know when or how, but you will know why.
As he concluded, Priest said that when he gets his hands on Black, not even the devil himself will stop him. Priest said Black will feel his venom when punishment comes for Black. Priest wished Black a Happy Halloween.
Priest likes to use the word “punishment” in his promos since he used to wrestle as Punishment Martinez, so it’s a reference to that.
There was no Damiain Priest vs. Aleister Black officially announced, but based on what Priest said, it sounds like another match is coming soon.
