Damage CTRL’s Hooded SmackDown Ally Revealed

Damage CTRL may have added to their ranks after the hooded figure that helped them on SmackDown was revealed.

On SmackDown in Chicago, Damage CTRL’s IYO SKY and Dakota Kai put their WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship on the line against the duo of Liv Morgan and Tegan Nox.

Late on in the match, Nox was tangling with SKY on the outside before sending the Japanese star back into the ring. This allowed Bayley to try and interfere but Tegan Nox sent the Role Model over the ringside barricade. However, as she did so, a mystery, hooded person nailed Nox with a kick to the head. This allowed SKY to hit her moonsault in the ring and pick up the victory for Damage CTRL.

In a WWE exclusive video, the hooded assailant is seen being removed backstage by security before Adam Pearce removes the hood, revealing Xia Li.

Xia Li has not competed on SmackDown since the 11th of November edition of the show where she was part of a six-pack challenge to find a number one contender for Ronda Rousey’s SmackDown Women’s Championship. That match was won by Shotzi who failed to dethrone Rousey as champion at Survivor Series.
