D-Von Dudley Announces WWE Departure
It has been announced by WWE Hall of Famer D-Von Dudley that he is no longer working for the company’s NXT brand.
D-Von Dudley was part of the legendary tag team known as The Dudley Boyz, which included D-Von’s “brother” Bubba Ray Dudley. They had an incredible run through the 1990s, 2000s and into the 2010s that led to many people as one of the best tag teams of all time.
The Dudley Boyz won the Tag Team Titles in every major wrestling promotion during their time as a team. Some of the promotions where they won tag team titles were WWE, ECW, WCW (after WWE bought them), NWA, NJPW, and TNA/Impact Wrestling.
In their WWE careers, The Dudley Boyz won the Tag Team Titles ten times (that includes the one reign as WCW Tag Team Champions). They were inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2018 after being inducted into the TNA Hall of Fame in 2014.
Following his in-ring career, D-Von Dudley worked as a WWE Agent/Producer from 2016 until he moved to NXT as a coach starting in June 2022. D-Von also has his own wrestling school.
D-Von Dudley tweeted this about his decision to move on while thanking WWE for the opportunity.
“The company (wwe) and I have decided to parted ways, and feel this is the best Decision for all parties it’s been a pleasure and an honor to work with the young talent when bubba as well as everyone over in NXT. As well as working with some of the best producers in the world.”
“I would like to thank Vince, Paul(HHH), Stephanie, and my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for the opportunity that was given. I’m very excited to see where God brings me next, Oh my brother……. TESTIFY!!!!”
D-Von’s legendary tag team partner and “brother” Bully Ray reacted to the announcement as well.

Bully Ray is currently a part of the Impact Wrestling roster after failing to beat Josh Alexander for the Impact World Title at Hard To Kill on Friday the 13th.
