Current WWE Champion Claims All Wrestlers Are Liars
A WWE star is mincing no words while talking about his peers.
Ethan Page is at the peak of his NXT career as the North American Champion and has been involved in a feud with Ricky Saints for months.
He is also aligned with The Vanity Project stable, which fought Saints as he ran the gauntlet on the July 8 episode of NXT.
On the Cody Rhodes podcast episode featuring Kevin Owens, the wrestlers discussed taking a bullet for Page; while they said they would, they joked it would be either on the leg or the foot.
Page reacted to their comment while appearing on The Pick, stating he would take 0 bullets for any wrestler because they are all liars.
So I would take zero bullets for zero wrestlers. I think they’re all full of crap and liars. I don’t think either of them (Kevin Owens and Cody Rhodes) would actually take a bullet for me. I think they’re probably just.. got caught on camera and just want the fans to gullibly think that they’re nice people.
So I’m hoping that their facade eventually wears off and people eventually see who they are in real life. But yeah, I’m not taking any bullets. I’m happy that other people will take bullets for me. I would probably enjoy watching that. But personally, I don’t care about any wrestlers. [H/T Fightful]
Ethan Page Shares Funny Reaction To Receiving WWE Job Call
Ethan Page made the jump from AEW to WWE in late May 2024 by attacking Trick Williams.
During his appearance on Insight with Chris Van Vliet, the 35-year-old shared his hilarious reaction to receiving a call from the Stamford-based company to bring him on board.
In between my connections, WWE called and offered me a job, and I did not think the call was real. The first call happened, they hung up, and I was like, ‘Yep, that was a crank call.’ Then the second call came, and I was like, ‘Whoa, whoa, wait, this is real?’ And they were like, ‘Yes, we would like to offer you a contract.’ I was like, ‘Very nice.’
Page recently defeated Ricky Saints in a Falls Count Anywhere match for the NXT North American Championship at the Great American Bash.
