There’s a new championship design in Ring of Honor (ROH) that was presented to one of the brand’s most dominant champions.

During the Ring of Honor broadcast this past Thursday, there was a video shown backstage at the June 17th edition of Collision.

The main event of the first episode of Collision saw CM Punk team up with FTR (Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler) to defeat Jay White, Juice Robinson and the ROH TV Champion Samoa Joe.

On the Ring of Honor broadcast, Ring of Honor Chairman Tony Khan and the board of directors, Jerry Lynn and Stokely Hathaway, presented Samoa Joe with a new ROH TV Championship.

Ring of Honor’s new TV Title now has a design that is similar to the other championships in the company.

Samoa Joe has been the ROH TV Champion for 437 days since defeating Minoru Suzuki for the title on the April 13, 2022 edition of AEW Dynamite. During his 14-month reign as ROH TV Champion, Samoa Joe has also held AEW’s TNT Championship as well.

Tony Khan owns Ring of Honor along with All Elite Wrestling. Since Collision launched last Saturday, the plan is for the company to tape Ring of Honor matches after Collision takes place. Last week when they did, a lot of the Chicago crowd left during most of the ROH matches. Perhaps AEW could switch it up to tape the ROH matches on before Collision airs.
