Current Champion Injured, Helped To The Back On WWE SmackDown
A current champion has seemingly suffered an injury on WWE SmackDown.
NXT Women’s North American Champion Sol Ruca and Zaria challenged Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss for the WWE Women’s Championship tonight on SmackDown.
During the match, Ruca performed several risky moves. Meanwhile, The Queen targeted the NXT Women’s North American Champion’s knee before applying the Figure-Eight on her for the victory.
In a clip posted on WWE’s X account, Flair, Bliss, and Zaria were seen helping Ruca to the back during a commercial break. The 26-year-old seemed to be suffering a knee injury. It is still unclear whether she was legitimately hurt during the Women’s Tag Team Championship match.

WWE SmackDown Has Witnessed The Return Of 2 Injured Stars
While Ruca might have suffered an injury on SmackDown, tonight’s episode of the blue brand has witnessed the return of two injured stars, Corey Graves and Ilja Dragunov.
The current color commentator was attacked by Brock Lesnar ahead of Wrestlepalooza and has been absent from television for about a month. However, Graves’ injury was just to write him off TV as he went home to welcome his second child with his wife, former superstar Carmella.
Dragunov’s injury, nevertheless, was not a storyline. The former NXT Champion missed over a year of action after suffering a torn ACL during a live event. The Russian star made a shocking comeback tonight on SmackDown to dethrone the United States Champion Sami Zayn.
