Cracks Show In John Cena And Logan Paul’s Alliance On WWE SmackDown

The team of John Cena and Logan Paul had an issue during their in-ring promo on WWE SmackDown.

In the main event of WWE SmackDown in Knoxville, the WWE Champion John Cena was supposed to have a face-to-face segment with Cody Rhodes. It was being done to promote the Money in the Bank tag team that will see Cena team up with Logan Paul against Rhodes and Jey Uso, the World Heavyweight Champion.

The former WWE Champion Rhodes was up first, and he delivered a warning to Cena about their past issues. Before Cena could come out to the ring, Rhodes brought out his Money in the Bank tag team partner, the World Heavyweight Champion Jey Uso. After several minutes of Yeeting with the fans, Cena made his presence known.

John Cena called Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso wannabes, who are too desperate and too lazy. Cena claimed there was one other person in WWE who embodies hustle, loyalty and respect and he’s got the fortune, fame and followers to back that up. Cena said his partner for the main event of Money in the Bank was also here, which led to the introduction of Logan Paul.

As usual, Logan Paul did a promo that infuriated the fans in the arena. Paul said that Cena speaks the language of Logan Paul and that is the truth. Paul said that this is a moment in history. Paul said you will lead miserable lives, but you will get to say that you saw this.

Paul said that he should have left Saturday Night’s Main Event with that World Heavyweight Championship, but Jey got lucky. Paul said that Jey needed Cody to save him.

The promo continued as Paul claimed that Cena and himself are self-made men. Paul said that five years ago, nobody would have believed that he would become a WWE superstar, and they never would have believed that he would tag team with the Greatest of All Time (aka John Cena). Paul said that Cena is the Last Real Champion while Paul is the face of this company. Paul said, ‘If you want some, come get some.’

What Did Logan Paul Do To Upset John Cena?

After Logan Paul finished speaking, Jey Uso said that they didn’t have to wait until Money in the Bank because they could end this right now.

At that point, John Cena wanted to leave, but Paul stopped him. Cena didn’t like that and wondered. Cody wondered if they would go backstage to polish his Peacemaker, so that was enough to start a fight. Within a minute, Jey and Cody cleared the ring with superkicks, Disaster Kicks and Cody hit Paul with a Cutter while Jey held Paul, so it was their version of the 1D.

As Cena and Paul retreated to the floor, Cody held up the WWE Title in the ring beside Jey in the ring with the World Heavyweight Title.

Clearly, Cena wasn’t happy that Paul ignored him when Cena wanted to leave the ring and go to the back. Could that lead to future problems for the duo? Find out at Money in the Bank on June 7th in Los Angeles.
