Corey Graves Admits WWE Passion Ran Low After Rough Patch

Corey Graves WWE

Corey Graves is happy to be back on track.

Back in January, Corey Graves publicly called out WWE after he was moved from SmackDown to NXT, after Joe Tessitore was shuffled over from Raw to make way for Michael Cole and Pat McAfee.

He later added that he had “a lot to say” about the issue on NXT, but missed the subsequent taping. However, Graves subsequently returned to the NXT commentary desk and opened the show by saying he was “right where he needs to be.”

Details on the spat were kept private outside of the initial outburst, but Michael Cole later admitted it was a “strange situation.”

Corey Graves Back To His Best

In a post on social media, Graves appeared to address his discontent earlier in the year by admitting that Worlds Collide had given him a boost after he’d been running low on passion. The NXT commentator went on to thank Konnan for helping guide him through the show.

Sometimes, you run low on passion. But then, something like this weekend happens.

Gracias por permitirme entrar en tu mundo, @luchalibreaaa.

I only wanted to do your culture & business proud.

Thank you to @Konnan5150 for dropping the important knowledge and being a genuinely first class human being. He loves this more than any of us will ever understand. Can’t wait until the next one.

Thanks to you guys, for reminding me that a rough patch isn’t the end of the road.
