Corey Graves Returns To WWE TV After Outburst
Corey Graves is back on WWE television following his social media outburst after he was told he was not famous enough to do his own job.
On January 13, Corey Graves publicly called out WWE for dropping him from SmackDown. After appearing on the blue brand on January 3rd, Graves appeared on NXT four days later but was missing from the most recent edition of Smackdown.
In the rant, Graves said he was no longer famous enough to do his own job, seemingly in response to Joe Tessitore and Wade Barrett becoming the commentary team on SmackDown with Michael Cole and Pat McAfee being installed on Raw.
In a follow-up, Graves said he “had a lot to say” on the January 14th edition of NXT, but the company had other ideas. Corey Graves was pulled from NXT and didn’t appear on the show and his future in WWE appeared to be up in the air despite him deleting his Tweets.
Corey Graves Where He Wants To Be
PWInsider reported that Corey Graves was set to miss the January 21 edition of NXT TV as well but that did not turn out to be the case and he was back at the announce desk with Booker T and Vic Joseph on the show.
Joseph made a big deal of announcing Graves as being on the show and Graves delivered a message indicating he’s now happy to be in NXT as he said:
I am right where I want to be. Where passion is everything and only the hungry survive and pro wrestling never stopped being cool.

Corey Graves still has substantial time left on his WWE contract meaning that he might have to accept his current role in the company.
