Many wrestling fans might be happy after one TNA star was suspended by the company.

Controversy has dogged the career and life of Tessa Blanchard in recent years. Her previous run in TNA came to an end under a serious cloud despite her capturing the TNA World Championship. Blanchard was caught up in a racism storm and has been accused of bullying by several wrestling stars.

Despite all of this, the second-generation star has rebuilt her career back in TNA, although at Slammiversary, it seems she’s on very thin ice once again.

Tessa Blanchard Suspended By TNA

Slammiversary saw Blanchard take on ex-WWE star Indi Hartwell in a one-on-one match. Perhaps surprisingly to most fans, Hartwell survived being hit with the Magnum to nail Blanchard with her Hurts Donut and a version of a full nelson slam to pick up the victory.

After the match, Hartwell was being interviewed by Gia Miller when Tessa Blanchard attacked. Blanchard wiped out Hartwell before she slapped Miller and drove the interviewer into the steel steps.

Director of Authority Santino Marella was outraged by Blanchard’s actions, having security forcibly remove the star from the building. Marella then appeared in front of the live crowd before the main event and confirmed that Tessa Blanchard had been suspended by TNA.

The night’s main event saw Trick Williams shockingly hold onto the TNA World Title as he defeated both Mike Santana and Joe Hendry in a three-way match.
