Conflicting Reports Emerge On WWE Plans For Jacob Fatu
Jacob Fatu’s WrestleMania plans remain unclear.
Since joining WWE back in June, Jacob Fatu has destroyed everyone in front of him as part of Solo Sikoa’s Bloodline.
However, cracks have begun to appear in the relationship between the pair, and the once-powerful partnership appears to be on the rocks.
This was followed by a report that Jacob Fatu could face Solo Sikoa at WrestleMania after WWE decided to have Reigns face Sikoa on Raw in January. But a new update has claimed that things aren’t that cut and dried.
Jacob Fatu Is Going In Another Direction
Reporting in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer contradicted that earlier report, claiming the match isn’t booked and one of those involved will be doing something else.
Regarding rumors of Fatu vs. Sikoa, it is right now not booked and one of them has a different booking, but of course this can change.
Reports have also emerged that a match between Finn Balor and AJ Styles is also under consideration, but again, according to Meltzer, this hasn’t been booked.
Styles vs. Balor isn’t booked right now.
In a move that could have huge WrestleMania implications, it’s been announced that The Rock will return to WWE on the February 21 edition of SmackDown. Although many expect The Great One to announce that WrestleMania 42 will be held in New Orleans — the location for SmackDown, that might not be all.
As noted by Meltzer in the above report, The Rock has previously claimed he needs nine weeks to get in shape to wrestle, and at the time of publication, WrestleMania is nine weeks away.
