Completely Forgotten WWE Star Turns Up At Evolution
A former female WWE superstar was backstage at Evolution supporting women’s wrestling, but she did not appear on camera.
The WWE Evolution PLE was a celebration of women’s wrestling, featuring members of the current roster, some legendary performers from the past, and honoring the women who paved the way.
During the Evolution broadcast, several Hall of Famers and legends were in the crowd, including Ivory, Jazz, Jacqueline, Molly Holly, Melina, Maryse, Madusa/Alundra Blayze, Lelani Kai, Vickie Guerrero, and others.
There were also many people backstage. One of those people was former WWE diva Cherry. Natalya is a close friend of Cherry, as fans of Natalya are likely aware from her Instagram posts over the years. In a photo posted on Instagram, Natalya shared an image of Cherry hanging out with her and Maxxine Dupri, who is her current tag team partner.

When Was Cherry In WWE?
Cherry worked for WWE from January 2006 until her release in August 2008, so she was part of the company when Natalya was a newcomer.
During most of her WWE run, Cherry was part of the throwback tag team with Deuce & Domino, and would appear wearing roller skates. The team was billed as being from “The Other Side of the Tracks” and were a throwback to the 1950s era. Deuce & Domino held the WWE Tag Team Titles together for about four months in 2007.
Cherry also wrestled occasionally and had her last WWE match in August 2008, before being released.
