Cody Rhodes Reacts To WWE Star “Done Waiting” For WrestleMania Moment

Cody Rhodes has reacted to a WWE star that is “done waiting” for his WrestleMania moment and it’s going to lead to a match.

With WrestleMania 39 set to take place in less than three, a lot of WWE superstars are trying to find their spot on the grandest stage of them.

When it comes to Cody Rhodes, he knows where he will be because he won the 2023 Royal Rumble, which was his first match in about seven months. That Royal Rumble win meant that Cody gets to challenge Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at WrestleMania 39 on April 1st or April 2nd.

Since he’s a WWE veteran, Cody has wrestled at many WrestleManias in the past, but there are some guys on the current that hasn’t had that luxury. One of those names is LA Knight, who failed to win the Fatal 5-Way match on Smackdown to earn a shot at the Intercontinental Title.

LA Knight tweeted this about WrestleMania Goes Hollywood in Los Angeles.

“EVERYBODY knows you can’t have an LA Wrestlemania without LA Knight. But @WWE is late to the game, DRAGGING THEIR FEET on giving Wrestlemania the opportunity for an LA Knight moment. It’s about damn time I get a heads up. I’m done waiting.”

Cody Rhodes reacted to it with a match challenge that Knight accepted.

“Well I don’t want to be outta’ practice by #WrestleMania If you’re in Providence, stand opposed…what are we waiting for? #WWERaw”

That led to Knight replying to Cody in a way that makes it clear that he accepts the challenge. You can see the tweets below.

While LA Knight is really good on the microphone and is able to get crowd reactions, he hasn’t picked up that many big wins on the WWE main roster. At the Royal Rumble, he lost to Bray Wyatt in a Pitch Black Match. Perhaps he’ll fare better against Cody Rhodes, who happens to be on quite a roll.
