Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owens are two of the biggest names on the roster, and also staunch on-screen rivals.

The Prizefighter had turned heel on The American Nightmare after Rhodes helped Roman Reigns against Solo Sikoa at Bad Blood 2025.

Following that, Rhodes and Owens had a feud. However, off-screen, the duo are good friends and recently did a podcast episode together.

Cody Rhodes convinced Kevin Owens about “imaginary” brothers

Recently, The American Nightmare had Becky Lynch on his podcast, What Do You Wanna Talk About? With Cody Rhodes. In that, one of the topics of conversation between The Man and the Undisputed WWE Champion was when Kevin Owens was on the podcast.

Becky Lynch revealed that she loved the episode, especially the banter between them. This is when Rhodes revealed that he had pranked Kevin Owens into believing that Rhodes had two other brothers apart from Dustin Rhodes.

Do you know that I told Kevin yesterday that I had two other brothers because he texted me. He goes, I want your brother’s number. I said, chicken is what we call Dustin. And then he goes, do you have other brothers? I said, yeah, I have two. Lincoln and Jeff. And he bought in for about 15 minutes.

Currently, both Rhodes and Lynch are holding championships in WWE. Cody Rhodes dethroned John Cena as the Undisputed WWE Champion at SummerSlam 2025, and Becky Lynch dethroned Lyra Valkyria for the Women’s Intercontinental Championship at Money in the Bank 2025.
