Cody Rhodes Warned Off The Rock’s WWE Offer By Seth Rollins

Cody Rhodes has the offer of a lifetime from The Rock but now Seth Rollins has urged the WWE Champion to make the right choice.

The Rock returned to WWE on SmackDown where he wanted to send a message to Cody Rhodes. Despite being one of the most revered stars of all time, The Rock left more people confused than not as he told Rhodes he didn’t want the WWE Title, he wanted his soul.

At a post-show press conference, The Rock poured cold water on a match with Cody Rhodes noting that these stories don’t always need a bout in the ring to finish them off. So what does it all mean? Seth Rollins, for one, doesn’t want to find out.

Seth Rollins sacrificed his WrestleMania 40, losing the World Heavyweight Title after he teamed with Cody Rhodes to face off against Roman Reigns and The Rock in a huge tag team match. The Rock picked up the win on that occasion but Rollins again put himself in harm’s way so Cody Rhodes could finish his story and win the WWE Title from Roman Reigns.

Seth Rollins Sends Warning To Cody Rhodes

On the February 24 edition of Raw, Seth Rollins reminded Cody Rhodes of that as Rhodes considered the offer from The Rock. Rollins told Rhodes that it was a slap in the face that The American Nightmare even listened to The Rock’s offer.

Rhodes reminded Rollins of his own checkered past when it comes to betrayals with Rollins noting he hoped Rhodes didn’t make the same mistakes as he had in the past.

The confusion might be ended at Elimination Chamber on March 1 as The Rock has warned Rhodes he will be in Toronto at that show to get the WWE Champion’s answer.
