Cody Rhodes Wants AEW Star In WWE Hall Of Fame

Cody Rhodes

Cody Rhodes wants to see his own brother and AEW star Dustin Rhodes one day honoured with an induction into the WWE Hall of Fame.

Dustin Rhodes has been part of AEW since the start of the promotion following the end of his latest stint in WWE. The man formerly known as Goldust took on Cody Rhodes at AEW’s first pay-per-view earning critical acclaim in the bloody battle.

The sons of the legendary Dusty Rhodes are on different sides of the wrestling fence again with The American Nightmare back in WWE while The Natural continues to ply his trade in AEW at the age of 54.

As a guest on Busted Open Radio Cody Rhodes was referred to as a Hall of Famer by Mark Henry before noting that he wants to get his brother in the Hall of Fame first:

I have never ever heard Hall of Famer before. That would blow my mind. We have to get old chicken in that Hall of Fame first though. My brother. We have to get chicken in there. He’s just out there still hitting the ropes where you can here the ‘ding,’ he’s hitting them so hard. We have to get him in there.

Will Dustin & Cody Rhodes Ever Be In The WWE Hall Of Fame?

Dustin Rhodes was one of the most controversial WWE stars of the mid-nineties as Goldust. The bizarre one captured the Intercontinental Championship during that time but he never captured a world title while in the company. Despite that other beloved characters such as The Godfather, The British Bulldog, and The Honky-Tonk Man have been inducted in recent years meaning Rhodes should be very much in the mix for the honour.

Cody Rhodes will no doubt one day be a WWE Hall of Famer himself but he has many more stories to tell and indeed finish before that day comes. Cody Rhodes will be joined by a familiar face in WarGames at Survivor Series as his squad goes head-to-head with The Judgment Day in the match that The American Dream created.
