Cody Rhodes Shows Off Unique Gear For Upcoming Major WWE Show

Cody Rhodes

Cody Rhodes has a date with destiny on the horizon as he looks to finish his story and capture the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship from Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 39, but first Rhodes has another date inside Madison Square Garden.

WWE will return to its spiritual home in New York City on March 12th for a supershow live event that will see Cody Rhodes take on The Bloodline’s enforcer Solo Sikoa. This will mark Rhodes’ first match in Madison Square Garden since 2015 when he lost to Titus O’Neil while portraying Stardust. The last time Rhodes competed in MSG using his own name was nine years ago when he just so happened to share the ring with Sikoa’s older brothers The Usos.

Taking to social media, Cody Rhodes showed off the extent he was willing to go to for his return to The Garden as he shared a clip of his unique weight belt that he’ll be wearing at the show.

Already scheduled for MSG is a 20-man Battle Royal with the winner earning an Intercontinental Title shot against Gunther later in the evening. In addition, Austin Theory will clash with Seth Rollins in a Steel Cage match for the United States Championship and Bray Wyatt will resume hostilities with LA Knight in a Lights Out Street Fight.
