Cody Rhodes Tips Two Legends For WWE Hall Of Fame
Cody Rhodes wants two legends to be honoured by WWE.
It’s WrestleMania season so that means speculation and discussion around the WWE Hall of Fame is at an all-time high.
The class of 2025 is set to be headlined by Triple H, and he’ll be joined by Lex Luger, Michelle McCool, and the Natural Disasters. WWE is also inducting the legendary match between Steve Austin and Bret Hart at WrestleMania 13 as part of a new “Immortal Moments” series.
It’s been confirmed that both men, who are already in the Hall of Fame, will be on hand for the induction.
But despite the 2025 ceremony yet to even take place, some are looking further into the future.
Cody Rhodes Wants Two Rivals In The WWE Hall Of Fame
In a new interview with Fox News, Cody Rhodes discussed the WWE Hall of Fame and who he’d like to see inducted in the future. The WWE Champion gave a shout-out to his brother Dustin in AEW and suggested both John Cena and Randy Orton should be inducted as soon as they retire.
“I feel like there are certain people who should immediately go into the Hall of Fame when they’re done wrestling, and love him, hate him or indifferent, John Cena would check a box as somebody who should immediately go into the Hall of Fame. Also, Randy Orton should check a box as somebody who should immediately go into the Hall of Fame.”
John Cena is set to end his career in late 2025, and he’s vowed to never wrestle again when he walks away. It remains to be seen whether he’ll be inducted in 2026.
With regard to Randy Orton, his WrestleMania match with Kevin Owens appears to be in doubt. According to a new report, Owens is dealing with an undisclosed injury. There’s no word on what the injury is or how serious it could potentially be, only that it’s significant enough that alternative WrestleMania plans for Orton have been discussed.
Owens hasn’t wrestled since beating Sami Zayn in an Unsanctioned Match at Elimination Chamber on March 1.
